Virginia police say they’ve taken a man into custody after a minor fender bender turned into a bizarre road rage incident on December 12.

According to the Washington Post, police were called after witnesses reported seeing a man exit his vehicle immediately following an accident on Frying Pan Road and Route 28. The man proceeded to climb onto a truck and began assaulting the other driver involved in the collision. The man then jumped a road barrier and removed his clothing before running down the road and jumping onto a passing vehicle, causing damage. Leaping off the vehicle the suspect then fled the area on foot.

Theo Garner who witnessed the incident told a local Fox station, “Out of the corner of my eye, I see a guy half naked guy cross eight lanes of traffic on 28. He then climbs up on the back of the dump truck that a pickup truck had slammed into the back of, disrobes and then proceeds to throw things on 28.”

Police were able to apprehend the man on property belonging to Dulles Airport with a little help from Virginia State Police, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority. The man was then taken to a hospital to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, NBC Washington reports.

The suspect’s name has not been released at this time, but a witness was able to capture most of the incident on video. Formal charges are currently pending.
