On May 8th, 2008, an intruder entered the home of 53-year-old Thomas Randolph and his wife Sharon. The masked man waited until the couple arrived home from date night in downtown Las Vegas, and shot Sharon in the head as soon as she walked through the door. When Thomas discovered the grisly scene, he shot the intruder. This case was much more complicated than anyone bargained for. 16 years later, it’s still ongoing.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2021, first responders arrived at 67-year-old Melody Gambetty's apartment unit on Kensington Drive in Clarksville, Indiana. The one-bedroom unit had mysteriously caught fire. When authorities announced that the retired grandmother was found deceased inside, a great sadness loomed over the tight-knit midwestern community. However, upon entering the apartment, it was clear that Ms. Gambetty’s death was no accident.

In Charlotte, North Carolina, the governor had shut down the state at the very height of the pandemic, while sweet and loveable Mary Collins left the home and never returned. She was only 20 years old and disappeared for eight days after taking an Uber to some friends nearby.
